About Me
👋Hi, my name is Felix and I am a User Experience and Product Designer based in New York. I was born in New York City, raised in Brooklyn. Throughout all my years living in this great city, I have experienced the true diversity that comes with being around people of all different backgrounds and cultures. That's why it is so important that products today, whether digital or physical, take into account people of different perspectives and abilities.
My goal as a UX Designer is to improve the user's journey from start to finish by creating products with empathy. Products that are more useful, more usable, more engaging, and ultimately more fulfilling. Although I recently obtained my Google UX Design Professional Certificate, my passion and affinity for UX started decades ago. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and marketing. I was fascinated with the mental processes involved in human thought and behavior, and what shapes our experiences. Then, my first job out of college was creative research at an advertising agency - an industry which is all about what appeals to users and consumers.
Throughout the years, no matter what job I had, my focus was always on empathizing with my clients and customers and how to best meet their needs. A happy customer is a return customer, and that's good for business.
In my free time you can find me rooting for the local sports teams, in the rehearsal studio with my rock band, reading, traveling, or exploring new and cool spots all over NYC. I am also currently in the process of obtaining my Front-End Developer professional certificate from Meta, which I will complete in early 2024.
